How To Pickle Pickled Eggs The Easy Way
How to pickle pickled eggs the easy way. This pickled egg recipe was handed down to me by my grandmother and I think you will agree they are easy to make and tasty!
Materials Needed:
Quart Jar With Lid and Cover
1.) Place 12 eggs into a kettle. If you want easy to peel eggs be sure to have eggs that are around two weeks old. Cover the eggs with cold water. Bring eggs to a rolling boil and reduce the heat to medium heat for 10 minutes.
2.) Place hard-boiled eggs in ice water. Peel and rinse.
3.) Tightly pack all 12 of the peeled hard boiled eggs into the glass quart canning jar.
4.) Boil 1 cup vinegar. 1/4 cup water, 2 T sugar, 1 T salt and a pinch of pickling spice together in a medium sauce pan. Take off heat after boiling for two minutes.
5.) Pour boiling liquid over tightly packed hard boiled eggs in the jar. Place a lid on them and let them cool at room temperature.
6.) Cooked eggs can be canned or refrigerated. For the best possible flavor, let the eggs and spices mellow for one or two weeks before eating.
Enjoy!!

September 22, 2011 at 10:28 AMHey there outstanding blog! Does running a blog like this take a lot of work? I have absolutely no expertise in coding however I had been hoping to start my own blog in the near future. Anyhow, if you have any ideas or techniques for new blog owners please share. I know this is off subject but I simply needed to ask. Thanks a lot!
