I consign print work in the marketplace of three companies, Zazzle , Fine Art America Pixels and Smugmug and I link to those companies on my website. I do this for several reasons that directly benefit my clients.
Why Do You Consign Your Printing?
- So, I do not have to keep your credit card information, address, or telephone number on file.
- I am one person, I don’t know how to keep your private and valuable information safe and secure, and I’m not going to pretend I do.
- Large corporations and companies have the proper teams to secure and protect your valuable information.
- The companies offer a vast selection of printing options from professional to museum-grade materials. They print large volumes, which keep prices low. If I had to stock items, your prices would be higher.
Who Mails Your Products?
If you order from Zazzle , Fine Art America Pixels, and Smugmug those companies print and mail your order.
- Their experts will fuss over each order, ensuring superb color and consistency from print to print.
- Prints are carefully flat-packed—damage during shipment is almost unheard of. Any lustre, gloss, or metallic prints with a side 60″ and over will ship in a tube. Metalprints over 30″ x 45″ are shipped in crates.
Why Do You List In Two Marketplaces?
Each marketplaces offer clients different products and different price points.
- Fine Art America Pixels – Offers products from wall art to home decor. It is the most expensive of the two options. But, offers you the choice to choose from hundreds of different frame and mat combinations. Prints can come framed, assembled, packaged, and delivered “ready to hang” with pre-attached hanging wire, mounting hooks, and nails. If you want a statement piece of art, choose Fine Art America pixels.
- Zazzle – You can transfer the image to over 1000 products in the marketplace or choose the digital download option on select items. Digital downloads allow you to print the image using the printer of your choice. The option is beneficial for those who like to switch out decor often, like control over how the item will be printed saving money because you can print locally and do not have to spend money on costly shipping.
- Smugmug – This is where I store my photos. You are welcome to purchase from any of the open photo galleries.
What Information Do You Get When A Sale Is Made?
- Fine Art America Pixels – Item ordered, date ordered, city the item was mailed, and the price.
- Zazzle – Item ordered, date ordered, your first name, city the item was mailed, and the price.
- Smugmug – Item ordered, date ordered, your full name, address the item was mailed, email address, and the price
Returns
Lastly, AND most importantly, I want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. Teaming up with suppliers that print millions of prints at a decent price for a quality product is a good thing. All three companies stand behind their products and have your back if you need to return an item.
Fine Art America Pixels –100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE. If you’re not happy with a purchase that you made, for any reason, you can return it to us within 30 days of the order date. As soon as it arrives, they issue a full refund for the entire purchase price.
Zazzle – The Zazzle Promise –> If you are not satisfied for any reason with any qualified product you purchase you may return your purchase for a replacement, credit or refund until within 30 days of receipt. Digital items are not returnable.
Smugmug – They have a 100% print guarantee. If you’re ever unhappy with your prints or gifts, SmugMug will reprint or refund your order, whichever you prefer. Simply send them an email within 30 days of receiving your order and they will help you out.
